Sample Collection: Can I collect a sample the day before?

Yes — if you’re in a metro area, it’s fine to collect the sample the day before posting.

We understand it’s not always easy to get to the post office first thing in the morning. If you’re in a metro area, you can:
- Take your sample on Sunday or Monday afternoon/evening.
- Note the time and date of collection as per instructions.
- Store:
- Swab → pouch A → store at room temperature.
- Blue-tipped device & pottle → pouch B → store in the fridge.
- Next morning: Package everything with the provided frozen ice block.
- Send: Take to Express Post on Monday or Tuesday morning and hand the package over at the counter (do not use a post box).
