Would submitting three samples from the same person on different days (e.g., Monday, Tuesday) yield identical results due to NGS sequencing?

There will be differences between days, but overall species composition should be similar

- The gut microbiome is dynamic; day-to-day fluctuations occur due to diet, medications, stress, sleep, gut transit time, etc.
- Most species remain the same, but abundances can shift and transient species may disappear.
- If three different bowel movements are sampled, results will vary but still reflect the same microbiome.
- If three swabs are taken from the same stool sample, results will be nearly identical (within assay error).
