sIgA detection levels

Secretory IgA (sIgA) is the most common antibody found in the gut. It plays an important role in:

- Protecting against harmful microbes
- Keeping inflammation in check

Your report shows sIgA levels based on the limit of quantification (the range where results can be measured reliably).

- Very low values (between about 26–149) are difficult to measure accurately and may look misleading if reported as exact numbers.
- This is why we only report levels once they’re in the range where the test is highly reliable.

sIgA gives useful insight into how well your gut’s immune defences are functioning.
