The most effective way to access and understand your report is by discussing it directly with your referring practitioner. Once they have received the report, they can share the report with you directly, guide you through the findings and address any questions or concerns you may have.
In accordance with pathology best practice and to ensure that results are interpreted safely and with appropriate clinical guidance, we are unable to release reports directly to patients without prior approval.
If you would like to obtain a copy of your report prior to accessing it from your healthcare practitioner, we can proceed in one of the following ways:
Practitioner Authorisation: We can request permission from your referring practitioner to release the report to you.
Data Subject Access Request: I can submit a request to our clinical team for approval to release the report directly to you.
Alternative Practitioner: If you prefer, we can send the report directly to another registered healthcare practitioner of your choice. Please provide their full name, practice name, and contact details.
